Who we are

Innovative measurement technology

AHLBORN develops and manufactures high quality data loggers for research and development in industry, pharmaceuticals, medicine and many other fields such as environmental protection and monument conservation. A very large selection of suitable sensor technology is available for the data loggers and measuring instruments.

A special feature is the ALMEMO® system. A single data logger is suitable for the measurement of almost all physical, electrical or chemical quantities, only the sensor has to be changed. This is connected via an intelligent plug. The ALMEMO® connector technology allows complex measurement data acquisition with individual measurement setup. New are D7 connectors for digital sensors. These sensors can be exchanged without loss of calibration data, as calibration of the digital sensor is performed without a measuring device. Individual parameters are additionally stored in the connector. Extended display ranges are possible in the displays of the display units. With 10 measured variables per D7 connector, simple data loggers become multifunctional measuring instruments, also with sensors from other manufacturers. For the measurands relative humidity, temperature, flow velocity and for electrical quantities AHLBORN is DAkkS accredited calibration laboratory according to the standard DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018. In addition, a wide calibration spectrum is offered for all measurands that can be detected by the ALMEMO® measurement technology.

In the region south of Munich, we develop and manufacture high-quality measurement technology for research, industry, environmental protection, building renovation and much more in our family business. The electronics production takes place in the branch in Thuringia. The company is equipped with the latest manufacturing technology.

Every employee is well trained and motivated. A high degree of personal responsibility and a pleasant working atmosphere with social structure are basic requirements. All employees of AHLBORN Mess- und Regelungstechnik GmbH participate in the company profits.

For more than 20 years we have been using intelligent connectors for sensors. This means that one single measuring device is able to serve completely different applications, only the sensor has to be changed. No extensive programming is necessary. The measurement can start immediately after plugging in the respective sensor.

For the measurands relative humidity, temperature, flow velocity and for electrical quantities we are DAkkS accredited calibration laboratory according to the standard DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 In addition, we strive to offer our customers as complete a calibration spectrum as possible for all measurands that can be detected by ALMEMO® measurement technology.

ALMEMO® measuring instruments and sensors are popular with users at home and abroad. Worldwide sales are handled by dealers and distributors.
