Who we are

In TARNOS, we have designed and manufactured industrial equipment in our facilities in Madrid (Spain) for nearly 70 years.

In 1955 we began our activity with the manufacture of vibrating equipment, licensed from SYNTRON. This is still one of our key fields of expertise and we manufacture all kinds of vibrating solid handling machinery.

In 1976 we expanded our product range by incorporating high-capacity filtration equipment for water intake systems.

TARNOS has always specialized in offering strong and reliable equipment, adapted to different needs required by the market. Throughout the years, our experience and professional staff has positioned our company as leaders in the field for different kind of industries, giving customized solution for all our client’s needs.

VIBRATION FOR SOLID HANDLING

We work for the sectors of construction, food, quarries, chemical, mining, ceramics, iron and steel, recycling, wood, glass, fertilizer, biomass, etc.

Our solutions are focused on using the best-adapted vibrating equipment for the extraction, dosing, elevating, classifying, sieving and transport of bulk material and products.

Also, small and medium size customers that manufacture machines with their own design, include our standard vibrators on their equipment.

Our designs are supported by SYNTRON MATERIAL HANDLING (Syntron® & Link-Belt®, FMC Technologies), for whom we are a Licensee in Europe for most of our products.

WATER INTAKE SCREENING

Our high capacity extra-heavy duty water intake screening equipment is used in critical processes such as Desalination Plants & Power plants (Combined Cycle, Thermal, Nuclear), when the reliability of our Traveling Band Screens & Self-Cleaning Bar Screens is a fundamental.

We have hundreds of references of Capital Projects that include our screening equipment, some of which have been operational for decades.

Our designs have the technical support from EVOQUA WATER TECHNOLOGIES (including technology from FMC & US FILTER), for whom we are a Licensee outside the North America market.
