Our vision is to become the top choice in-wheel motor technology company for the automotive industry – as a developer and as a manufacturer. We offer best-in-class technology and know-how, based on safety, reliability, cost, and performance. Our plan is to revolutionize passenger vehicles and leverage our quality and technology to spread our leading position into other segments inland (e.g. heavy-duty, transport, commercial), marine and air vehicles.

Elaphe technology dates back to the late 1980s and stems from our founder’s research into high-specific torque electric motors. Today, Elaphe Propulsion Technologies is a developer and producer of high-tech propulsion technology based on the premise of multiple-motor propulsion and a holistic vantage point. A major cornerstone of Elaphe’s technology portfolio is our world-leading in-wheel propulsion technology, representing the enabling technology for the new era of innovation in the automotive industry.

Elaphe’s achievements include the world’s highest-performance in-wheel-powered applications to date, including pioneering an in-wheel driven SUVs and supercars. Patented and innovative electromagnetic and mechanical designs for in-wheel propulsion enable Elaphe™ products to be tailored for specific ranges of torque and power to fit most vehicle configurations. Elaphe provides turn-key in-wheel powertrain platform solutions that include motors, power electronics and intelligent multiple-motor propulsion control.
