About

We see a future where a new generation of underwater robots impacts water-based industries as broadly as flying drones have for land-based industries.

Blue Atlas Robotics began in 2018 with an aim to promote positive human interaction with our waters.
We were inspired by the many people working hard in our waterways and wanted to provide an easier and more beneficial way for them to collect underwater information.
We see a future where a new generation of underwater robots impacts water-based industries as broadly as flying drones have for land-based industries.
Blue Atlas Robotics began as a project to build an autopilot for small ROVs, using only a camera and computer vision to navigate, leaving the operator's hands free to do other things.
Our autopilot quickly evolved from this stage into becoming an entire underwater robot system, able to autonomously perform underwater surveys.
We are excited to be part of the digitization of maritime spaces and help build the future of underwater robotics
