The WIMOD wireless transmitter is a radio module that used
on different models of LOAD CELLS, FORCE, PRESSURE,
TORQUE, DISPLACEMENT transducers with 2mV/V standard
output.
The system allows to interface up to 32 WIMOD to a single
control PC or connect up to 4 WIMOD to WISTAR handheld or
a MP2plus panel indicator.
The module, powered by an internal rechargeable battery,
provides an autonomy of ~1000 hours, covering a maximum
distance of ~200 m in free air.
The transmission frequency is 433 MHz. This makes secure and
reliable the communication even in the presence of other
transmission systems such as mobile phones, walky talky,
radio microphones, remote controls etc. that normally work on
different frequencies.
Because of its extreme ease of installation the system is used
in various applications such as weighing and balancing of
plant, machinery, boats.
Real-time monitoring of the distribution of loads suspended on
metal structures used for stage lighting and plant engineering.
Much used in applications where it is necessary to frequently
change the position and the number of sensors to be used
each time.
The WIOMO can be applied directly on the sensor body or
simply connected to the end of the cable (stand alone).
