Remote control is based in two associated SRR4 devices with RF communication. Both devices work simultaneously as transmitter and receiver. The inputs state of one device appears in the outputs of the other device. Industrial RF communication in 2,4 GHz band (world-wide license free band). The SRR4 868 version works in 868 MHz band.
OPERATION
Remote control is based in two associated SRR4 devices with RF communication. Both devices work simultaneously as transmitter and receiver. The inputs state of one device appears in the outputs of the other device.
Inputs
There are 4 inputs available. Each one is activated by closing circuit between input and the common terminal. The state of each input will be replicated in each output of the associated SRR4.
Communication and range
SRR4:
This version works in 2,4 GHz band (world-wide license freeband)
Range of SRR4:
Indoor/urban: up to 60 meters.
Outdoor Line-of-sight: up to 750 meters.
SRR4 868 version:
This version works in 868 MHz band. It has a better range butit is not a world-wide license free band.
Range of SRR4 868:
Indoor/urban: up to 150 meters.
Outdoor Line-of-sight: up to 4 km.
Repeaters can be installed to increase the communication range.
Outputs
There are 4 outputs available. Dry contact relays. Outpus activated (relay contacts closed) while their corresponding inputs in the asociated SRR4 are activated. In case of communication error, outputs are inactive (relay contacts opened).
Indicators
In the frontal panel there are 11 LEDs to indicate next states:
- Inputs: 4 green LEDs. ON while activated.
- Outputs: 4 red LEDs. ON while activated.
