Characteristics:If the correct size of the torque limiter is selected and the groove nut is tightened, then during normal operation of the transmission, no movement occurs between the transmission element and the torque limiter. This results in a rigid transmission.
Attention:The spring washers press two friction linings against the clamped transmission element (e.g. toothed gear). The force acting against the linings determines the transmittable torque. If the limits of adhesion are exceeded, the transmission elements slip. The torque limiter has no bore for shafts
