Right angle gearboxes are used in all theose industrial applications wher motion need tu be turned by 90°. The product range is based on 7 different sizes. For each size 5 ratios are available (1:1, 1:1.5 , 1:2, 1:3, 1:4). Shafts range from d. 11 to 70 mm, hollow shafts are available from d. 12 to 55 mm including grooved profile options and shrink discs too.

GEARS

The gear sets have been designed according to the spiral GLEASON cutting method and are all based on the lapped version. Gears are all made in carburizing steel 18NiCrMo6 with case-hardening heat treatment.
All gear set are lapped from size 86 upwards. This process optimizes the meshing conditions and significantly reduce and boosts the right angle gearbox performance.
The angular backlash is defined by measured the output shaft backlash and locking the input axe (this backlash has got the same value if measured on the opposite way only for ratio 1:1).
The backlash is a function of the meshing clearance between the teeth. Should a reduced backlash be requested within 5 ‘ always measured on the output shafts a specif request can be submitted to our engineering dept. For costs/technical further details evaluation.

SHAFTS

The mayerial of which they are made is tempering steel according to a tensile strength of 750/950 N/ mm².
