The pick & place machines can easily switch between plastic and cardboard trays. An almost unlimited number of formats with and without trays can be implemented with Schubert technology. And the variable image processing monitors product quality in 3D as required.

With the right pick & place robots, maximum performance can also be achieved in a short picker line: On a total length of less than eight metres, the confectionery manufacturer unstacks trays and packs over 530 products per minute. The special T4 robots from Schubert enable an exceptionally high robot density due to their limited working area.

With exchangeable robot tools, product diversity is never a problem: The pick & place machine packs a total of 20 formats at this long-established confectionery. The quick-change grippers are specifically designed for each pastry. After a format change, the system starts up again immediately without any loss of quality. Up to 50 formats are easily possible on a single picker line.
