TIDAS OEM Multiplexer



To switch between different optical channels, J&M offers multiplexers (fibre switches). Setups for 2, 4 or 9 channels are available. These products are available for the UV, VIS and the NIR wavelength range. Depending on the application, fibres with 100µm up to 600µm core diameter with a NA of 0.2 to 0.5 are used. The functionality of the fibre switch is based on a design that allows switching between the channels without movements in the optical path, allowing reproducible, precise measurements. The multiplexers are used within applications in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Example applications include multichannel dissolution test systems or process applications where the long term drift is corrected by switching between the measurement and the reference channel.
