The SC6540 series is an electric safety tester, manufactured by Associated Research. This product is used in automating multi-point and multi-product testing while using OMNIA, HypotULTRA III, or HypotMAX models 7700 and 7704. It offers 10 various configurations, which are built off of two simple scanning settings identified by the power module.

The master scanner is controlled through automation and is available with USB/RS-232, Ethernet or GPIB interfaces. In addition, it can control up to a four slave scanners, which could provide up to a maximum of 80 connections from a single power source. A slave scanner is controlled straightly through an OMNIA, HypotULTRA III, or HypotMAX models 7700 and 7704.

This product is used in applications like transformers, motors, cables or any DUT that requires tests between various points.
