About

The jaw coupling is a general-purpose transmission coupling that is widely used in motion control (servo) systems. Its purpose is to transmit torque (by connecting the two shafts) while absorbing damping system vibrations and adjusting deviations, protecting other components from damage. A jaw coupling consists of three parts: two metal hubs and a polyurethane part called a spider or elastomer. The three parts are pressed together, and the "claw" structure of each metal side section is alternately installed with the petals of the elastomer.

Components:
Hubs: Steel expansion cap with aluminum hubs
Spider: PU (4 hardness types are available)

Characters:
Absorb vibration and adjust misalignment of parallel, angular and axial
Oil resistance and electrical insulation
Zero backlash
Spider supports 4 types of hardness
Taper locking type

Application:
machine tool, monitor retractor, vacuum pump, lifting jack, entrance/exit gate, textile machinery, pump, hydraulic equipment, xy stage, transport device, index table, injection molding machine, tube production machine, test stand etc.
