Heavy load cylinder 2A series

Heavy load cylinder 2A series

Heavy load cylinder 2A series

About

18 bar Heavy Duty Pneumatic Cylinders conforming to ANSI and NFPA. The tie rod construction sets the standard for performance, durability and trouble-free operation with superior design and quality to ensure long cylinder service life.

2A Series tie rod pneumatic cylinders are heavy duty, inch-dimensioned cylinders rated for use at working pressures up to 18 bar. Designed for use in steel mills, foundries and aluminium smelting plants, 2A air cylinders feature steel bodies and end caps to resist the high temperatures and airborne contaminants of these challenging environments, where normal light-duty aluminium-bodied cylinders would quickly be damaged. The 2A Series is designed for use with lubricated air; for non-lubricated air, Parker offers the 2AN range. Like all Parker cylinders, the 2A and 2AN series are designed to deliver long, efficient service with low maintenance requirements, guaranteeing high productivity with low cost of ownership, year after year.

To generate a CAD model of an 2A Series cylinder, please follow the steps for the equivalent 2A Series cylinder by using the CUSTOM CONFIGURATOR button.

A wide range of optional features is available, permitting cylinders to be customised to suit the most challenging applications and aggressive environments. Options include high temperature seals, metallic rod wipers, rod end bellows, position switches, integral cushions, oversize ports, stop tubes, stroke limiters and more. Where only a totally bespoke cylinder will do, our experienced design engineers will work with you to create a unique customised solution.
