Extreme mobility
ANYmal C’s legs provide unparalleled mobility when moving 
up and down stairs, climbing over obstacles, steps, and gaps, and crawling into tight spaces. Driven by powerful and fully torque-controllable actuators, ANYmal adapts to any terrain with a sense of touch.

Advanced sensing
ANYmal C is packed with perception sensors that allow for a safe operation. Simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) provides the system with an accurate position information even in complex and dynamic environments.

OBSTACLE DETECTION
Depth cameras on all sides perceive the terrain and any obstacles.

ENVIRONMENT SCANNING
360° LIDAR scans the environment at high accuracy up to 100 m.

WIDE-ANGLE CAMERAS
Front and back cameras provide a clear view for teleoperation.

GPS (RTK)
Satellite-based navigation for outdoor environments (optional).

Full autonomy
ANYmal C fully autonomously navigates through complex multi-floor environments. Once guided through the environment, ANYmal remembers every corner and finds the quickest route to perform its mission. During operation, the system safely avoids obstacles and reliably moves over rough terrain.
