Using new processes, maxon has developed a rotor for flat motors whose housing is produced by cold forming. The result is the more powerful and less expensive EC 45 flat Power up motor, it is available in two standard versions, as well as in two new versions with either an open rotor or a fan.

The flat design of the brushless EC flat motors make them the perfect solution for many applications.

The thought-through, simple design makes it possible to largely automate the manufacturing, which results in an economical price. The fan wheel provides active cooling during operation, which permits very high continuous torques.
