The DH-485 is a fiber optic repeater with an interface for ring structures, fieldbus transceiver, and network repeater. The electrical interface includes a 19.2K data rate, optical A/B bus networks SER1 and two, pluggable screw terminals. The input voltage range is 9-30VDC, with an average of 24VDC.

Products in the Ci-if 110-120 series support A/B DH-485 protocol, as they are designed for use in DH-485 optical bus networks. Ci-if 110 features a single fiber optical transceiver and a single electrical interface. The 120 model contains a single electrical interface and two fiber optic transceivers.
