The electromagnetic clutch SEE, is basically formed by the inductor core with its corresponding coil, the rotor with the incorporated friction material (which is mounted on the shaft with key) and the induced assembly, composed of the induced disk itself with a spring- membrane and induced support.
MOUNTING
In inductor core it is centered in the relation to the axis and adjusts to the bed of the machine. The dimension “a” indicated in the table must be
respected in assembly.
When applying a voltage (normalized to 24 Vdc) to the coil, a magnetic field is formed that attracts the induced disk against the rotor, causing a deformation in the membrane spring, it compensates the air gap “a” producing the clutch action, with the integral torque transmission. When the current is removed, the part 6 recovers its original position, separating the armature from the rotor, ceasing the engagement and without residual torque. Make sure that the two friction surfaces are free of grease or oil, since their presence reduces the clutch torque.
These units require a small number of actuations for the torque to reach its nominal value.
Characteristics:
Single-plane single disc.
Standard voltage 24 V.DC
Compatible with most manufacturers.
