It adopts permanent magnet steel, rather than field winding. Rotor is carefully wounded and varnished, which helps motor in good insulated state and safety. High quality bearing runs the motor stable. Complete sealing and oil-resist protect motor properly. Compared to excitation DC motor, PMDC Brush motor is much smaller and lighter.
