The transmitter of the FDS 216 set without DIBt approval monitors the window position and transmits the information by radio to an adapter plug receiver with a switched 16 A socket. In this way, an exhaust air system can only be operated with a tilted or open window if it is ensured that sufficient fresh air flows into the room and thus no negative pressure is created that could draw dangerous and toxic carbon monoxide from a combustion site.

Functional description:
By using the FDS 216 radio exhaust air control, an exhaust air system (e.g. clothes dryer) can only be used when the window is open and the necessary supply air can flow into the room. A transmitter on the window sash monitors whether the window is open or closed and transmits this information by radio to the receiver. This is simply plugged in between the socket and the mains plug of the exhaust air system and only releases the power supply when the window is tilted or open. The mains plug fuse prevents accidental reconnection of the device plug of the exhaust air system, e.g. laundry dryer.

Second receiver
Combination with another receiver FDS 199 Installation, or FDS299 intermediate plug for a second exhaust system, e.g. a cooker hood or bathroom fan, is possible.

Second window (OR):
At least one of the windows must be open for the exhaust air system to be switched on. For this purpose, the FDS 200 SET is equipped with an additional transmitter FDS 098 of the same coding for the second window.
