USG-212 EO/IR multi-sensor gyro-stabilized gimbal was designed to be used on UAVs and small manned aircraft. The gimbal is equipped with a Full-HD Sony block camera with 30x optical zoom and a high-quality IR camera. It is sealed and can be operated in any weather conditions. Optionally, an onboard image processing unit is available, adding features like target tracking, coordinates lock, and video stabilization. The anti-vibration damping system eliminates vibrations from the airframe. Even while using the 30x zoom, the image stays clear and stable.
On-board digital video processing module includes advanced features such as target and scene tracking, digital video stabilization, onboard recording, Full-HD live-streaming, and much more.
The mission control software allows to control all gimbal features, enables moving map, detection, analysis, and identification of targets, creation of objects on the map, generation after-flight reports, and transfer to external sources via API. In addition, the augmented reality feature can overlay street names and objects right on the live video.
Due to the capabilities of the Kestrel Land MTI software solution, the USG-212 EO/IR camera system is able to automatically detect various types of moving objects like people, vehicles, or aircraft.
