Three months ago, Franka Emika filed for bankruptcy. The court appointed Hofmann from the law firm Pohlmann Hofmann as the provisional insolvency administrator. His aim was to prevent the company from slipping into regular bankruptcy. This has now been achieved.
There were three serious interested parties for Franka Emika, and the company's patent portfolio is particularly attractive. Agile Robots ultimately prevailed against two competitors: against the investment company Schoeller and against Neura Robotics from Metzingen, another well-known start-up in the robotics industry
